Welcome to Life & Lyric,

I love to teach and counsel people using God’s Word. Why? Because the Bible declares itself to be sufficient for all of life for the believer.    

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;  so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”  2 Timothy 3:16

The Psalms are songs full of the lyrics of real life!

“Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him. For the help of His presence.” Psalm 42:5

In his most widely known hymn, A Mighty Fortress is Our God, the famous Reformer Martin Luther points us to true hope,

“Did we in our own strength confide, Our striving would be losing;
Were not the right Man on our side, The Man of God's own choosing.
Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He”

Lyrics can be deep, sung from a beating heart to people with beating hearts, capturing and revealing and refreshing the human condition and based on the truth of God’s Word.  For me, I have come to know the One who knows the human condition, better than anyone. And His lyrics I love, sing, and share.
